Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen was on Wednesday heavily attacked for his engagement in Baringo South by-election.
The vocal Jubilee Senator was responding through his Twitter account to KANU party's decision not to field any candidate in the upcoming by-election terming it a clear sense of heavy defeat by his Jubilee party, a king in the region.
"With the popularity of William Ruto in Baringo, there is no way KANU would field a candidate in a Jubilee zone," Murkomen twitted.
His sentiments were however short lived as KANU supporters came calling on him harshly.

William Kamket said: "Senator, Women Rep, MP, MCAs, Directors, Voters- KANU. What do you mean? Ama mumeleta scandal huku pia? # Cartels. And FYI, we dine with all the Jubilee MPs daily."
DavidLeRoy said: "We are not riding blindly in your tano terror bandwagon come 2022, tell that to your master, no sane person will after all mess your government has caused this nation."
Peter Bulimo(Omwami) said: "Popularity by Capturing and Luring a Kanu Candidate!!."
Clement Police noted: "Is it Ruto running as MP? So Jubilee has become Ruto and Ruto is Jubilee. Mhesh I do think this is sycophancy at its highest order."
Kemege noted: "I think Ruto to be President of Kenya will be a mockery. 2022 better any but not thieves as you."
Mwebi Jodom said: "Keep talking of popularity of William Ruto Baringo and KANU and Jubilee as if the popularity of Ruto will keep school playgrounds and people's land from theft."
