Speaking on the 'Big Question'  Citizen Television on Sunday, Murkomen revealed that there are top government officials largely allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta working around the clock to erode his relationship with his deputy William Ruto.

The plan, he said, is to weaken the bond between the two in a bid to paralyse Ruto's 2022 presidential ambition by taking away Uhuru's support claiming that the force is so strong and could soon succeed if not properly handled.

''There is a small wing of individuals within the government being used by destructive elements with a desire of breaking the Jubilee Party. However, things are still calm currently,'' said the vocal close ally of Ruto.

According to Murkomen, the group has largely invested in the scheme and is the force behind the circulation of information pointing at a pending separation between the two leaders before the 2022 general elections.

''They are the ones sponsoring stories in the newspapers and using other people in an attempt to break the party. Their only motive is to contain Ruto and stop him from making it to presidency,'' he added.

He however refused to name them claiming that their identities will soon be in public domain.
