North Mugirango MP Charles Geni has yet again challenged Elgeyego-Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Garissa Town MP to come clean on National Youth Service (NYS) scandal.
The two were recently linked with loss of Sh791 million, a figure which has since fluctuated to over Sh1.6bn at least according to Parliamentary Accounts Committee.
Initially, Murkomen and Duale defended the then Devolution Cabinet Secretary Ann Waiguru before turning guns on her after being mentioned in the scandal.
“I want to urge my colleagues (Duale and Murkomen) to be sincere on certain issues especially on matters corruption. We ought to be honest with Kenyans,” he said.
“When we raised the matter, and then defended Waiguru left, right and centre. It is shocking that they now want her prosecuted,” he added.
Last week, Murkomen challenged the state to legalize corruption if it fails to successfully prosecute Ms. Waiguru.
