[Photo/Nation]Moments after the Supreme Court Chief Justice David Maraga warned politicians against attacking the courts following the nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta's win in the August 8 polls, Jubilee senator has hit back at Maraga."Senior political leaders have also threatened the judiciary promising to cut it to size and teach us a lesson. This attacks are demeaning and meant to intimidate and cow the institution and individual judges such acts are not only unlawful but savage," Maraga said, Tuesday. The Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen took to his Facebook page to express his displeasure with the CJ following his remarks.Murkomen noted that Maraga was biased in his statement adding that the statement will be studied and analysed."It is unheard-of all over the world that a Judge let alone a Chief Justice can call a press conference to respond to media reports and threaten members of public who might find themselves at some point in time in the courts seeking Justice. It is worse when the CJ speaks like a biased politician who is ready to pay the "ultimate price," wrote Murkome,Tuesday. He added, "When a CJ speaks with such anger then how will Kenyans expect Justice? When the political madness created by the Supreme Court will pass away, the Press statement issued by the Chief will be studied and analysed again  "
