Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has once again reiterated his innocence over the alleged loss of overSh691 Million at the National Youth Service (NYS).
Speaking during the launch of NYS projects in Kerio Valley on Sunday, the legislator said he was eagerly waiting for the Parliamentary Accounts Committee (PAC) to summon him so that he can set the record straight.
"My fingers are itching for PAC to call me so that I can set the record straight. I was not in anyway involved in the looting at NYS," he said.
Murkomen further hit out at former Devolution CS Ann Waiguru for dragging his name into the mess, and warned her to be ready to go to jail should she be found guilty over the scam.
Waiguru implicated Murkomen and Deputy President William Ruto's aide Farouk Kibet in the multi million scandal during her grilling by the committee.
