Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has mourned the death of University of Nairobi linguistics professor Okombo Duncan Okoth.Okoth died on Wednesday night while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.He was born on November 8, 1950 on Rusinga Island, Homa Bay County."I'm shocked that my friend and teacher Prof.Okoth Okombo is no more. He taught me much of what I know about Communication and Leadership. So sad," said Murkomen on his twitter account, Thursday."Many of us who are in Parliament benefited immensely from Prof. Okombo 's fountain of wisdom on matters Public," he noted."Prof.Okombo made teaching as a profession so admirable&lovely.Such a prolific dancer.A teacher of both verbal&non verbal communication," Murkomen added.
