Murkomen and Emurua Dikir MP Johana Ng'eno were attending the home coming party for Tiaty MP Kasait Kamket when the showdown unfolded before Senator Moi.

It all began when Ng'eno said that Senator Moi should start angling for the seat because he has been quiet over the issue.

"When that time reaches, we shall tell some people to take a back sit and watch how politics is played. Senator Moi is my friend but he has been very quiet over this. The other friend of mine (William Ruto) is a step a head but that will not dampen our spirit," Ng'eno said.

But when Murkomen took over the microphone, he said Ruto's camp will not be cowed by people out to frustrate his bid to succeed Uhuru.

"They have been running around trying to discredit others, we are not watermelons to be threatened, we are prepared for the battle," Murkomen said.

He said leaders from Rift Valley should work together lest the region will lose the presidency in 2022.

Senator Moi said the event was a home coming party and should not have been used for politicking.
