[Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga.A Jubilee senator had claimed that he is undergoing turbulent times and is in a state of denial following his loss to president Uhuru Kenyatta during the August 8 polls.]Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga is going through tough times after losing his fourth stab at the presidency but will soon recover, Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen has said.
Speaking in an interview with NTV Wednesday, the Jubilee senator added that Mr Odinga was in a state of denial following his resounding defeat by president Uhuru Kenyatta and asked Kenyans to help him recover from the aftermath of the August 8 polls.
"We understand what is happening to Mr Odinga. He feels bad considering that this probably could have been his only chance to the presidency but now it is gone. He is still in a state of denial but Kenyans will help him recover in due time," he said.
Mr Odinga who has since filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the president's reelection has maintained that he rightfully won the race but was rigged out by the poll agency whom he has accused of working in cahoots with the government.
