Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has responded to threats that he may be 'harmed' because of his firm political decisions.
The outspoken Senator said he has endured such threats in the past, especially on social media adding that no one can gunner the capacity to threaten him.
"There is nobody in the whole wide world who is capable of bullying me," Murkomen said in a tweet on Sunday.
"I teach my children every day to be self confident and not to fall prey to bullies. I got this far because I am the greatest bully against life challenges."
Murkomen who is the Senate Majority Leader has been under constant social media attacks especially from critics who want him to explain where and how he acquired his wealth arguing that no Kenyan can ever get rich from earning salary along.
The Twitter users who had started a campaign under the hashtag WeKnowYourSalary had hit at Murkomen who came protesting that he was being targeted because of his firm political standings. The Senator supports Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.
The outspoken lawmaker, however, said he will never be swayed by people who have failed to focus at what they want in life and are busy fighting battles they know they can't win.
