[Photo|DPPS]Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen, has made a worrying, revelation, over Thursday's election. The Elgeyo Marakwet senator, said NASA leader Raila Odinga's plan of not participating in the election, aims to reduce the voter turnout in Jubilee support zones, by giving them an illusion that their candidate, President Uhuru Kenyatta, will have an easy landslide win.According to him, electoral uncertainties in NASA strongholds may force the IEBC, to suspend election in some of the coalition's strongholds, after which another election would be called in the affected regions."After Jubilee strongholds record a low voter turn-out, NASA will request the IEBC to hold repeat elections in the constituencies where the initial election will have been suspended," he said."The IEBC will be legally bound to hold the elections in the NASA strongholds." This, Murkomen said, will see NASA coalition rally supporters to come out in large numbers to exceed the numbers that will initially be recorded in favour of Kenyatta, after which, Odinga would have won.
