Senate Majority leader also Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has made a new revelation about Raila’s plan regarding the repeat presidential poll. Murkomen claims that Raila is planning on participating in the repeat election at a later date other than October 26. He alleges Raila wants to mobilise his strongholds not to take part in the Thursday election after which IEBC will constitutionally conduct an election in those areas at a later date. “IEBC has the constitutional mandate to repeat elections where they did not take place so they will shedule election for those suspended areas let say on 31st October. Then Raila comes out and campaigns thoroughly and ensure 100% turnout in NASA strongholds and celebrate if he beats Uhuru’s numbers,” posted Mr Murkomen. According to the Senator this will happen after October 26 after Jubilee supporters have turned out in small numbers because of the belief that Uhuru would win enormously. The embattled Jubilee has appealed to Uhuru's supporters to turn out in large numbers on Thursday and vote overwhelming for the Jubilee presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta hence sabotage Raila's plan. The NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has vowed to his supporters to make a major announcement on Wednesday a day before the repeat poll about his political path.
