Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen has criticised the National Super Alliance (Nasa) flag bearer Raila Odinga after he threatened to boycott the fresh presidential election.Raila during a press conference on Tuesday rejected the October 17 set by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) saying the Opposition team was not consulted on when the elections should be held.He threatened that Nasa will not participate in the re-run election if specific demands they raised are not addressed.Speaking on Tuesaday, Murkomen said if the former prime minister dares to boycott the October 17 election, President Uhuru Kenyatta will be sworn in as president."Let them boycott and Uhuru Kenyatta will be sworn in as the next president. It Will be an easy job for us. IEBC is an independent commission and should not be directed on how to do its work,” said Murkomen. The Jubilee senator was accompanied by Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege alongside other Jubilee elected leaders.
