Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen Kipchumba Murkomen addressing the press in Eldoret town Sunday, 22nd October 2017 (Photo: Elvanis Ronoh) Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen has warned opposition leader Raila Odinga against disrupting the fourth coming Thursday October 26th Presidential elections through demonstrations scheduled for Tuesday.He said it is the democratic right of every Kenyan to vote leaders of their choice."Those who are not ready for October 26 fresh polls should respect those who want to participate in the elections," he said Eldoret town, Sunday."Raila Odinga voluntary withdrew from the presidential race. Why is he again denying people a chance to participate in the exercise. His intention is to have a coalition government but this time round we won't get even a slice," he added. He, however, warned opposition leaders for inciting violence against IEBC   in their strongholds  to stop the October 26 elections. “I urge Raila Odinga to stop his supporters from attacking and intimidating IEBC officials  since they are performing their duties as per the constitution If he is a democratic leader as he purports he should allow people to  vote," noted Murkomen.He called upon residents to come out in large numbers and vote for the incumbent president Uhuru Kenyatta for him to continue with the projects he initiated."No body should cheat you that elections will not be conducted on Thursday October 26th, elections will be there, therefore, come out on large numbers and vote," said Murkomen.
