Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has questioned Jubilee government's budgetary estimates for 2017/18 adding that the figure is an exaggeration of reality.
The budget which is expected to be tabled in parliament by April will see the government searching for a whooping Sh2.6 trillion to sustain it.
"It will be difficult for the government to sustain such a budget and I think we might yet again depend on borrowing," he told reporters in Kisii.
"We want a budget which is sustainable and Jubilee should be aware of that. We have already over borrowed," he added.
Mudavadi is in a two days tour in Kisii region where he is drumming support for the National Super Alliance.
