Questions have continued to be raised following the murder of IEBC Deputy Director of ICT, Chris Musando, after he went missing, Friday last week.

Before his remains were moved to Lee Funeral Home, from the City Mortuary, the body revealed some of the injuries he had sustained, before his death.

Daily Nation reports the body had visible injuries on the stomach, the back and left side of his head.

Musando's neck showed several injuries, pointing to possible strangling and bludgeoning by his killers, while both hands had cut wounds. The right forearm was broken.

"His face has no injury but fresh blood was oozing from the nose by Monday mid-morning," said the daily.

Musando's boss, IEC chairman Wafula Chebukati arrived at the City Mortuary upon hearing the news, Monday and confirmed that “he had been tortured”, and called for a a post-mortem to determine the real cause of his death.

Chebukati called on the police to help find out Musando's killers, and called for enhanced security for all IEBC officers, ahead of the August 8, polls.

Some of the Opposition's Nasa leaders led by Musalia Mudavadi and James Orengo arrived at the Lee Funeral Home to view the body and condole with the family, and called for speedy investigations into the incident.
