President Yoweri Museveni, has apologised to President Uhuru Kenyatta and other guests who attended the EAC summit for hosting them in an ill-conditioned room.

This made President Kenyatta laugh almost into tears as the Ugandan head of state critiqued the manner in which the room wa squeezed.

"I am very sorry for your suffering, I can see you are all sweating. Thanks to the poor organization of the Uganda group. They are always determined to inconvenience our visitors I don’t know for what reason,” said President Museveni. 

Despite the ironical talk, President Museveni issued a stern warning against the organisers saying it was the last time he was tolerating that. 

He even asked the organisers to put up places in outdoor areas, especially near Lake Victoria for vistors to enjoy. 

Other Presidents attending the function include the following head of states; Paul Kagame (Rwanda), John Magufuli (Uganda), Bashir Omar (Sudan).

President Museveni apologised to them for making their stay in Uganda hard.
