Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected back in the country on Wednesday.
He is scheduled to stay for two days while having bilateral talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Business issues are expected to feature greatly during their conversation since Uganda is Kenya’s key trading partner in the region.
According to the Star Newspaper, President Kenyatta is looking to build on the already strong relationship between the two states.
Issues like Uganda picking its cargo from Nairobi's new Internal Container Depot after arrival via the SGR will take center stage," a source familiar with the plans of the visit told the daily.
Two days ago, President Kenyatta launched Ultra-Modern Inland Container Depot at Embakasi and offered 50% discount for exporters willing to use the facility.
It’s reported a decline in the face of trade between the two countries recently, a situation which is likely to be addressed during the duo’s meeting.

Museveni was in the country during the President Kenyatta inauguration at Kasarani Stadium on November 28.
During his visit, he told Kenyans to move on and develop the country saying people couldn’t eat politics.
