[Photo|Yoweri Museveni]Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has acknowledged his one-day official visit in Nairobi, on Tuesday.Through his Facebook account, Museveni said:"Was in Nairobi, Kenya today on an official visit at the invitation of President Uhuru Kenyatta, who hosted me at State House, Nairobi.We held bilateral talks, also attended by Deputy President William Ruto, where we hailed the strong bilateral relations between our two countries and committed to strengthen the ties even further. Our discussion also focused on bilateral and regional issues, including progress around the Standard Gauge Railway and Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) with the European Union.We also discussed the smooth running of the East African Community Secretariat, regional troops in Somalia and peace initiatives in South Sudan."
