Rift Valley Regional coordinator Wanyama Musiambo has warned Kajiado Central MP Kanchori Memusi against undermining national government activitieis in the region.
This comes after the MP called for the transfer of Kajiado county commissioner Harsama Kello accusing him of forcing chiefs to campaign for Jubilee.
Memusi said it is unlawful for the chiefs in the county to be engaged in campaigning for Jubilee ahead of the repeat of presidential polls.
The lawmaker said the chiefs are campaigning for Jubilee through relief food distribution.
Musiambo accused the legislator of politicizing drought management efforts.
"Chiefs are mandated to ensure locals worst hit by drought get relief food from the national government. The MP is only politicizing the matter. Chiefs will not leave the locals starve just because they will be accused of campaigning for somebody", said Musiambo.
He said chiefs helps the government also to identify families that will be supplied with relief food.
