Speaking in Nakuru town on Monday, Musiambu said residents proved wrong those that anticipated the region to experience chaos.
He said that his office was happy that no chaos was reported in the region while those that attempted to disrupt peace were dealt with timely.
“I just want to take this opportunity to commend the people of the larger Rift Valley region for maintaining peace during campaigns and throughout the election period,” he said.
The commissioner also appreciated the role played by the national government administrators in ensuring law and order.
He called on members of the public to support elected leaders in the realization of the promises they made while seeking for votes.
Musiambu also took the moment to wish the new county government of Nakuru leadership well while assuming office.
