Rift Valley regional coordinator Wanyama Musiambu is among beneficiaries of government changes announced by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday.

Musiambu was named the deputy to Nzioka Waita who is the head of public service.

This means the administrator, who has been dealing with the security situation in Rift Valley, will go up the ranks and be closer to the power seat.
