This comes after the Wednesday’s ruling by Judge Justice Jessie Lesiit.

Chemtai who was popularly known as Chelele is believed to have been murdered by his AP police friend Erick Musila after he suspected her of having an affair with another man.

She was found murdered outside her house at Chepkeny village, Bomet County.

Residents however, say they believe Chelele was murdered elsewhere then her body dumped at her house.

The decision was reached upon after Musila’ s lawyer Wameyi Makomeri told the court that a mob attempted to lynch Musila while he was being escorted to prison.

He said this was dangerous and wanted the case not to be heard in Eldoret, Nakuru or Naivasha for Musila’s security.

Prior her death, Chelele had posted a message on facebook suggesting that she knew her end was near.

She was mourned by many Kalenjin celebrities among them gospel singer Emmy Kosgei.

The case is set for mentioning on December 16, in Kisumu.

His lawyer says the change of hearing location is better since he will have enough time to work on the client’s case.
