Kalonzo, while speaking in Kyuso Town, Mwingi North Constituency where he presided over a fundraiser in aid of the area's women's groups, said that the ensuing public brawls between the two Wiper leaders do more harm than good to the party under whose ticket they seek nomination.

“The relentless fights that are ensuing between the two is wrecking the party in which they are leaders,” said Kalonzo.

Instead of inciting their supporters who have also been engaging in counter attacks on social media platforms, the Wiper leader asked the two rival party members to exercise tolerance

Bad blood between the two leaders, senator and governor who  are members of the Wiper party, developed after the senator declared his interest in the gubernatorial seat that is occupied by Malombe thus declaring enmity.
