Senator David Musila at a past function( Photo/ ku.ac.ke)Senator David Musila has exuded confidence that he will win the forthcoming general elections. The lawmaker defected from Wiper after losing nominations to the incumbent Dr Julius Malombe in an exercise he termed shambolic.
He has, however, insisted that the people of Kitui will give him a chance to work for them as their next governor because of his exemplary performance scoreboard.
“I’m the best to work for the people of Kitui and I’m sure they will make that decision in August,” Musila said, as quoted by Star.
When asked why he was campaigning using choppers across the county, Musila said he wants to cover more areas in order to increase his chances of election when that time comes.
“I want to cover more areas and we have very little time to ourselves,” he told local daily.
Musila has pledged to correct mistakes made by the current regime. The aspirant has been launching attacks on the current leadership, saying it has failed terribly.
According to senator Malombe does not deserve another term in office because he has not kept the promises he made while seeking support before the last general elections.
