Former Kitui senator David Musila has said that he will not be shaken or intimidated as he campaigns for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election in Ukambani
Musila says that he will go on with Uhuru campaigns across Ukambani whether critics like it or not.
In an interview with the Standard on Saturday, the former Kalonzo Musyoka ally accused some politicians allied to the opposition of allegedly sponsoring rowdy prevent h8im from selling the Jubilee agenda in Ukambani.
Musila said that he will stand firm and continue preaching Uhuruto gospel to the Kamba people.
“I am not going to stop telling the Kamba people the truth even though it hurts,” he said as quoted by the Standard.
Musila maintained that Jubilee is the only option for the Kamba community.
He said that the community has nothing to get from the opposition, adding that Uhuru’s win in the repeat presidential election slated for October is unstoppable.
“I want t tell and remind the Kamba community tat they have a chance to be in government if they support Uhuru in the repeat election,” he added.
Musila who unsuccessfully contested for the Kitui governor seat is among Kamba poll losers who have declared support for UhuRuto.
The former Kitui senator received a hostile reception in Mwingi Town on Tuesday last week when he staged campaigns for UhuRuto.
Musila’s motorcade was allegedly pelted with stone by angry locals who were chatting NASA slogans.
Ukambani overwhelmingly voted for NASA in the August 8 presidential election that was nullified by the Supreme Court.
President Kenyatta is keen to have a share of the votes in the repeat presidential election slated for next month.
