Wiper Party chairman David Musila has urged Narc leader and former Lands CS Charity Ngilu to work with Kalonzo Musyoka as he seeks to unite Kamba people.
Musila on Thursday said that unity of Ukambani will be realized if all political leaders work together.
The Wiper chairman observed that locals are yearning to seek Kalonzo and Ngilu work together for development and unity purposes.
“We will continue to appeal to our sister in Narc and others to join us as we seek to unite Ukambani and push for development of the region,” he said during a rally in Kitui town on Thursday.
Musila stated that Wiper party is keen to see unity of Kamba people.
He claimed that some few selfish politicians want to create animosity among the Kamba people.
The Kitui senator noted that Ukambani is known for unity and they will not allow selfish leaders to disintegrate the region.
Both Kalonzo and Ngilu have not been seeing eye to eye for a long time basing on their different ideologies.
Kalonzo has been wooing Ngilu to join the opposition after she was suspended from the Uhuru Kenyatta government over corruption allegations.
Recently, the former Lands Cabinet Secretary hinted of a possibility of her joining the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord).
During a meeting with several MCAs in on Monday, Ngilu said that her focus is to ensure that Ukambani gets leaders who will push for development.
Ngilu has declared interest to unseat Kitui governor Julius Malombe in the coming 2017 general elections.
