Former Senator David Musila’s decision to back President Uhuru Kenyatta is betrayal to the Kamba community, Former Machakos Senator Muthama Johnson has said.
According to the lawmaker, Musila should rethink about his move to rally the electorate behind President Uhuru Kenyatta. Muthama also reminded Musila that the leaders are expected to support change and not join any political outfit because of their personal gains.
"David Musila should rethink his decision to support the Jubilee government and he should apologize to the Kamba community. We stand for change in Ukambani and that is what we want. Musila should stop wooing the Kamba people to vote for Uhuru," said Muthama.
On his part, Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has launched a scathing attack on NASA defectors terming the selfish. This is after Musila and other leaders from Ukambani threw their weight behind President Kenyatta.
“Those who went to State House went to receive some funds but they should tell the President that back home, things are terrible,“ he said as quoted by Nation.
"There are no votes that they can deliver to Jubilee,” Mr Musyoka added.
