Former Kitui senator David Musila has told NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka to get ready for another humiliating defeat in the repeat presidential election.
Musila who is leading UhuRuto re-election campaigns in Kitui and larger Ukambani says that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory in repeat poll is unstoppable.
Speaking when he hosted Jubilee party officials at his home in Mwingi on Monday, the former Wiper Party chairman said that Uhuru is only waiting to be sworn in since he has the numbers that guarantee him re-election.
The former Wiper senator said that repeat presidential election is a walkover for President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta will beat Odinga with over 70 percent of votes.
The former senator said that Uhuru’s development agenda speaks for itself and it is the asset he has to send Raila Odinga and his troops to retirement.
“President Kenyatta’s development agenda is the reason enough to why he is going to win repeat election with landslide,“ he said as quoted by the Kituionline.com
Musila said that NASA’s empty rhetoric and propaganda will not prevent Uhuru Kenyatta from winning the second term.
The former Kalonzo Musyoka ally at the same time criticized NASA leaders over the anti-IEBC protests. He said that NASA onslaught on the IEBC is in bad faith and allegedly meant to delay the repeat poll.
Musila asked Kenyans not shun opposition’s protests and remain calm as they wait to vote in the repeat presidential poll slated for October 26.
