Muslim clerics have vowed to join hands with the Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB) in rejecting proposals submitted by homosexuals to be allowed to produce their localized movies, plays and songs.

The clerics sternly warned that if the production of such films is legalized and granted, it would prove detrimental to the already decaying moral values and traditions.

Speaking during a sensitization meeting with KFCB officials, Sheikh Mohamed Khalifa of the national council of Imams said gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgender and Intersex will never be allowed to corrupt the minds of youthful generation.

“Homosexuals have no right to publicly disrespect the holy books and the Kenyan cultural values. This Adult contents should not be aired in public. What is the new thing that our mothers, fathers and grandparents do not know or even seen?” posed Khalifa.

KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua also noted that such a move will never be accepted unless they submit their products for classification before being distributed to the public.
