According to Abdulhamid Sakar, the KMYA executive director, the scholarship only targets youths aged between 25 and 35 years with strong educational backgrounds and especially from the less endowed families.

The training will be done at county levels where the successful youths will get in touch with their local communities in inculcating and developing leadership skills.

"We are very much pleased to inform you that scholarship applications for the International Leadership Program 2016 are now officially open for interested candidates who would wish to acquire leadership skills. The conditions are that one should be within the age bracket of 25-35 years and has a strong educational background," noted Abdulhamid.

The training summit will include workshops on leadership skills, inspirational and interactive sessions on global challenges such as poverty and sustainability, and visits to key projects which demonstrate leadership in action.
