Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) has condemned the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission over claims it plans to help the government win the 2017general elections.
However, the police have thwarted the demonstrations through the use of teargas and 'rungus' to disperse the demonstrators and prevent IEBC officials from being attacked by the Cord supporters.
What begs the question is how the people accept to be teargassed and clobbered by the police every Monday of the week when the demonstrations against IEBC officials are held.
The demonstration method has failed on all the occasions and the Cord leader, Raila Odinga, and his co-principals Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka, should look for alternative means of solving the issues at hand and save their supporters from the repeated experience of teargas and 'rungus'.
With the Kenya National African Union (KANU) offering to join the bandwagon, then it is only a matter of time before people witness a chaotic run where individuals look for water and hiding places when the full force of the law takes charge.
