The Supreme Court of Kenya. [Photo/standard.co.ke]The historic Supreme Court ruling has come under sharp critique and criticism. This has continued during the NASA and Jubilee campaigns.
Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka is among the Ukambani leaders who attacked the church for remaining mum on the ruling that has put Maraga under a spotlight from Jubilee supporters while NASA fans view it as a selfless decision.
"Where is the voice of the church over the Supreme Court ruling? What the court did was to steal victory of President Kenyatta. Millions of Kenyans who went to the polls elected their president and the churches should have condemned this ruling," Musyoka said as reported by the Star.
According to the legislature, the opposition only chose to go to court after compromising judiciary. He accused the judiciary of conspiring with NASA to rob President Uhuru Kenyatta his clean victory.
"We all know that the Opposition had earlier said they were not going to court. It’s clear that the move to go to court later was an afterthought after a conspiracy with the judiciary," he said.
