Machakos women representative Dr Susan Musyoka has called on the national government to beef security in Mitaboni.
This is after six night guards were hacked to death in August this year raising questions on the safety of the area.
According to Musyoka, the Cabinet secretary interior should put up a police station in Mitaboni or else the residents will demonstrate. Musyoka was speaking at a fundraiser Sunday in Mitaboni.
She was accompanied by area MP Robert Mbui. Musyoka later in the afternoon donated a water tank to KAG church Kasinga to aid in water storage.
