Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has yet again urged ODM leader Raila Odinga to consider backing him in August elections.
The opposition team is yet to nominate its flag bearer with only seven months to elections.
But the team has put in place a technical team which is crafting regulations that would guide them pick a candidate.
"I have sacrificed a lot and I think my brother Odinga should back me. I have walked with him all times and I think this is the right time for me," he said.
Kalonzo added: "I will beat Uhuru Kenyatta squarely and that is a fact. Hopefully I will get a chance to lead this nation."
Musyoka was on a voter registration campaign in Kisii County where he met several leaders allied to his Wiper party.
