The NYC under its chairperson Dishon Atemo has vowed to mobilize the youth nationwide to have those who looted from Kazi Kwa Vijana alongside the Youth Fund made to return the monies or face justice the hard way.

Ngunyi While speaking about his involvement in the saga way back in June, had said that he would refund any excess monies paid to a consulting firm associated with him. The reason for the money being channeled to the said firm was revealed as  "further advisory services on implementation of the NYS vision."

Apparently, he failed to honor the very vow he made and now the Youth council has asked him to live to his word or prepare for an arraign of court battles and massive protests from youths nationally.

"It is a pity that several individuals who were unmasked and caught red-handed in the NYS scandal are still walking free and even issuing conditions on how they can return monies allegedly stolen from the youth of this nation, ”  Dishon Atemo said while addressing the media at Chester house on Sunday.

Additionally, the council asked the land commission to look into matters involving some individuals who are said to have wrongfully grabbed land belonging to the National Youth Service (NYS) and return the land(s) to the youth for better use.
