The unity of Nairobi governor Mike Sonko and fiery lawyer Miguna Miguna will unite the opposites and help Sonko to accomplish more in his aim to improve Nairobi, Professor Mutahi Ngunyi has said.
According to the controversial political analyst, just like history has it, when the opposites unite there is always light.
“Change happens when there is a unity of opposites, in fact, a team of rivals tends to accomplish more than a team of friends. And this is a fact of history. Uhuru and Ruto were on opposite side on the 2007 election but the unity of the two opposite sides is what healed our nation in 2013. Similarly, the handshake is a unity of opposites. The negative met the positive, and then there was light,” said Mutahi on Sunday through his YouTube channel.
He added that the unity is also a simple of greatness and the nomination of Miguna show that Sonko is a bigger man contrary to what people think.
“When opposites unite, there is always light. And this is why we encourage the unity of Sonko and Miguna. Although people look down on Sonko as a joke, his nomination of Miguna tell us that Sonko is the bigger man,” opined Prof. Mutahi adding that Miguna should show his greatness as well.
