Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has claimed that Cord leader Raila Odinga has no interest in the proposed National Super Alliance being spearheaded by ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi.
According to Ngunyi, the Cord leader is afraid of NASA and in return is making diversionary tactics aimed at avoiding the NASA debate.
The analyst stated that Raila is afraid of the coalition because he knows it will be the end of his political career since the Luhya and Kamba communities will unite to form one outfit.
He stated that Odinga was using the conversion on corruption in order to remain relevant.
“His flip-flopping on corruption is too obvious for a man of his experience. This is why I submit that he is executing a scheme. But what is the scheme? In my view he is dead scared of the unilateral declaration of independence by Luhya Nation through NASA,” said Ngunyi.
Through his weekly videos under the Fort Hall School of government, Ngunyi said that Odinga’s political rhetoric since 2013 has made the Luhya and Kamba communities to abandon him.
He further stated that in case NASA dream comes true, Odinga will come third during the next general election.
“If the Luhya and Kamba nation unite under this rebellion, the Raila will be history. Jubilee will number one and NASA will be number two and Raila will be number three,” added Ngunyi,
Over the recent months, MUdavadi has been rallying opposition chiefs to unite under NASA and front one candidate who will face off with Jubilee in 2017.
