Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has come out clear to establish the reasons behind massive corruption in Jubilee Government sighting President Kenyatta's failure in the process.

In one of his most recent hypothesis, Ngunyi highlights that it is Uhuru's openness to the public that has been his greatest enemy in the fight against corruption.  He said the platform gives Kenyans more opportunities to criticise his government.

“If you open yourself too much to public scrutiny and seek public approval, the public will control you and then its leaders will pee on your good intentions. This is what has happened to Uhuru Kenyatta,” Ngunyi said.

Ngunyi, therefore, adviced Uhuru to emulate Former President Mwai Kibaki style of leadership, where he gave Kenyans the madharau card/Contempt card by remaining silent on controversial issues.

“But if you give the public the madharau card or the contempt card you will control them. Like Kibaki, Uhuru should just move into a cold-blooded stone and bore us with absence and silence,” he said.

The political analyst further advised Uhuru on how he can win the corruption battle in his government.

"Uhuru lost the battle on corruption the day he declared that he wants to fight corruption. Corruption is not something you fight. You fight it, it multiplies. This is because corruption does not fight back, it corrupts back. Corruption breeds more corruption." said Ngunyi.

"Uhuru's strategy should move from anti-corruption to counter-corruption. Anti-corruption is a response to breeding symptoms, Counter-corruption is more preventive," he advises.
