Vocal political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has dismissed a recent opinion poll allegedly done by him that tipped Cord leader Raila Odinga for victory in the August 8 general election.
Through his official twitter handle, Ngunyi rubbished the reports, adding that the former Prime Minister will never rise to presidency.
He said the poll was a ploy by Raila’s sympathizers to give the Cord leader some form of political advantage over Uhuru Kenyatta.
"The opinion poll is fake. It is part of Raila propaganda. Raila is a slow-punctured politician who will never become king!," read Ngunyi's tweet.
On Thursday, January 12, an online twitter poll, conducted by a handle under the name Mutahi Ngunyi, went on to reveal that Raila was favorite to clinch the top seat, after 50% of the poll participants voted for the Cord leader.
Uhuru came out second with 31%. Ngunyi is famous for his tyranny of numbers hypothesis in which he predicted President Uhuru Kenyatta's win in 2013 general election.
