Following the shock decision by Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua to back President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election, many political analysts have come out to give their view.
According to political analyst MUtahi Ngunyi, the decision by Karua is aimed at the 2022 general election.
Through his Twitter account on Thursday, Ngunyi said that Karua is set to become the next Kirinyanga governor in 2017 and consequently become the running mate to Deputy President William Ruto in 2022.
"The WOMAN who becomes Kirinyaga GOVERNOR will also become RUTO's Running Mate in 2022. My BET is MARTHA. She is LIKE TRUMP. A disruption!!!," Ngunyi said.
Karua who has been a big Jubilee critic over the past four years, is set to battle it out former devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru for the Kirinyaga seat.
It is not clear whether Karua will dissolve his Narc Kenya party and join Jubilee
