Controversial political analyst Prof. Mutahi Ngunyi now wants businessman Jimmy Wanjigi to sue the Nation Media Group (NMG).
This comes after NMG erroneously published Wanjigi’s death announcement in the Daily Nation on February 7, 2018.
Through his twitter handle, Professor Mutahi has said that the Daily Nation has no excuse on the publication of death and funeral announcement of James Richard Wanjagi bearing the picture of Mr. Jimi Wanjigi.
He went ahead to ask Mr. Wanjigi to sue the media for failing to exercise what he called ‘Duty of Care’.
“On the Jimi Wanjigi OBITUARY the DAILY NATION has no EXCUSE. He should SUE them for FAILING to exercise “Duty of Care”,” Ngunyi’s post on 8th February read.
The political analyst also asked Wanjigi’s enemies not to involve his family into men affairs adding that he is defending Jimmy as his age-mate.
“And to Wanjigi’s ENEMIES, “...KEEP his WOMAN, and CHILDREN out of our WARS as MEN’. I defend him as My Rika (age-mate),” said Mutahi Ngunyi.On his side, Mr. Wanjigi has suspected his political rivals for the erroneous publication citing President Uhuru Kenyatta.
