Mwingi Central Constituency Member of parliament Joe Mutambu has said that the members that were selected to discipline defectors from the party to Jubilee are nonmembers.
Speaking to KTN News on phone the MP alleged that he owned wiper party and could not allow outsiders to dictate them.
"You cannot summon a member if you are not a member," he said
"With my records, someone like Maanzo has not even paid subscription fees to the party," he added
Mutumbu said that the event unfolding in Wiper were legal cases terming the composition of the disciplinary committee constituted to punish them legal. The MP said that they had to send their lawyers and not appear before the committee since the process was illegal and only their lawyers were the only people who could represent them.
"What is happening in Wiper requires lawyers and not the members of parliament summoned," he said
The MP also took a swipe at Mombasa senator Omar Hassan terming him as a person who came to seek refuge in wiper to clinch the Mombasa senatorial seat.
"The person who wrote this letters is Omar Hassan who is a refugee who ran from ODM to ask for a Wiper ticket to run for the senatorial post in Mombasa," he said.
