Muthama said that the move by President Uhuru Kenyatta to launch multi-billion projects during his tour to Central Kenya last week shows that he favors some regions at the expense of others when it comes to development matters.

The Machakos senator said that the government should ensure that development is dispersed across the country.

He said that the Jubilee government was discriminating against some Kenyans.

“It is unfortunate that the Jubilee government has decided to completely ignore some areas in terms of development and even government appointments,” said Muthama during a cord rally held at the Kamukunji grounds in Nairobi on Saturday.

Muthama said that taxpayer’s money should be used to benefit all Kenyans.

,“Jubilee government needs to stop these tribal games and treat all Kenyans equally,” he said.

The Machakos county  senator said that the public appointments that have been made by the government only favours two communities.

“Kenya is made up of over 42 tribes and the Jubilee government must engage every tribe in development and appointments,” he said.

Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale said that government appointments don’t reflect the phase of Kenya.

“The government claims to be fighting tribalism yet it is the same one that makes tribal public appointments,” he said.
