Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama now claims that Jubilee is not ready for the forthcoming August 8 general elections.

Speaking to Milele FM on Monday, Muthama accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of trying to employ every trick to have the elections postponed.

“We are very much aware that Jubilee leaders want to buy and push time so that we can reach 8th of August without being prepared for the general elections,” said Muthama.

The outspoken Senator declared National Super Alliance's (NASA) march to Presidency unstoppable, threatening to flush out Uhuru and Ruto from the State House in August.

“We as NASA are ready to take the leadership of this country because we know very well that Jubilee is not ready to allow Kenyans to vote,” said Muthama.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has maintained they are ready conduct free, fair and credible elections slated for August 8, 2017.

Both Uhuru and Ruto have re-affirmed that they are ready for the polls challenging the Opposition to put its house in order and meet Jubilee at the ballot instead of threatening the IEBC.

“People should streamline their parties in readiness for the August elections and stop interfering with IEBC who are working to ensure free, fair and credible elections,” President Kenyatta said during a rally in Kiambu County early this month.
