Speaking at Salama Market, Muthama gave Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana an ultimatum to dissolve Muungano party and support Coalition for Reforms and Democracy through Wiper before the next general elections.

According to Muthama, Kibwana will only continue to associate with him if he dissolves his party.

The outspoken politician also said that Kibwana and his Machakos counterpart were running small parties that are likely to confuse Ukambani electorate and diminish the dominance of Wiper Party in the region.

“We don’t want to hear some people standing on one leg and running around pretending to lead the community,” Mr Muthama said in reference the duo.

His sentiments did not please his party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka who lash out at him for bullying members of other parties.

Kalonzo said that he needs Kibwana and other leaders to become the next president. He also accused Muthama of hatching a plan to ensure that Raila runs for Presidency.
