Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has launched a fresh attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto’s for allegedly using underhand tactics to woo the Kamba community to back their re-election.
Muthama, who was speaking in response to Jubilee’s tour in Ukambani, claimed the ruling Jubilee Party leaders have been launching ghost projects and buying votes leaders from the region.
The senator said that the Kamba community will not leave the National Super Alliance (NASA) because it has learned a lesson, adding that opposition will beat Jubilee when that time comes.
“He is fond of disrespecting us but that will end next week. Kamba people cannot move from NASA and that is a tough lesson he should have learnt by now,” he said.
The senator also said that President Uhuru has been launching ghostly projects in the region in an attempt to win the votes of this community when that time comes.
“We have seen him launch non existing projects and even buying Kamba leaders. That is not going to work at all although he is desperate for their votes,” he said.
