Speaking on Wednesday, Muthama called on Orengo to relinquish the position and hand power back to its rightful owner:

"If something is wrong, there is no way you can cushion it up and make it look right. The truth of the matter is, Wetangula being one of the principals, Orengo could not have attempted to do what he did," he said in an interview with Citizen TV.

"It is not too late for Orengo to put his hands and say, it is not mine.I don't want it, Wetangula take, because there is tomorrow, " added Muthama.

Wetangula was dramatically kicked out of the influential position over alleged disrespect to his colleagues.
