This is after one of the neighbors was cited for contempt of court after the High court found him guilty following a ruling that was presided over by Oscar Angote.

The accused is said to have erected a new fence around the property despite the existent dispute.“In the circumstances, and based on the evidence before me, I find the first defendant (Nicholas Wambua) interfered with the boundaries of the suit land by erecting a barbed wire fence in disobedience of the orders of the court,” the judge ruled on June 30, as quoted by Standard.

In 2014, the senator filed an application in which he sought to temporary orders to bar the neighbors from taking over the said piece of land which is located in Matungulu area.

The lawmaker has accused his neighbors- Munyoki Wambua, Maithya Wambua, Kyengo Maithya, Ndunda Wambua, Ancient Kioko and Charles Mutinda of fencing the property when there is a case surrounding the ownership.

The senator sought to stop the said parties from fencing, selling, trespassing marketing or sub-divide the piece of land. Nicholas has, however, insisted he was not served with a court order following the property tussle.
