Machakos Jubilee Woman Representative aspirant, Agnes Kavindu, says she is still area senator Johnson Muthama's wife.Kavindu who allegedly parted ways with the Wiper Democratic Movement - Kenya lawmaker, showed off her son to a crowd, saying he was a product of her marriage with Muthama.Muthama had announced at his Tala, Machakos residence, that the two divorced in 1983, faulting Kavindu of trying to use his name for political mileage.“You have heard some gossip in the media but I ask you, who does this gentleman here resemble?" she asked the crowd, as supporters chanted 'Muthama!' during a rally at Mulu Mutisya grounds."That should tell you I am still his wife," added Kavindu, Monday.She asked locals to believe the son, Moses Muthama, was the proof of her marriage to Muthama, and ignore divorce 'rumours'.Kavindu who was a preacher, further said she had good plans for Machakos residents, and asked them to vote out incumbent, Wiper's Susan Musyoka, who is seeking a re-election.
