Outgoing Machakos senator Johnson Muthama has slammed poll losers in Ukambani who have vowed to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Muthama says that the poll losere are desparate to fulfil their own selfish interests.
He said that it is an act of desperation for losers to claim allegiance to Jubilee.
Muthama said that Ukambani does not regret voting overwelmingly for NASA in the recently concluded general election.
The outgoing senator asked Ukambani poll losers to stop using the name of Kamba people to negotiate for their own interests.
" It is laughable to hear poll losers now shift allegiance to Jubilee, it is clearly an act of desperation," he said as quoted by the People Daily.
Muthama asked the Kamba community to be firm and reject politicians who want to use their name to negotiate for power sharing with Jubilee.
On Monday, several Kamba policiticians who lost in the recently concluded general election pledged to work with Jubilee.
The poll losers led by outgoing Kitui senator David Musila said that Ukambani will not risk to be in opposition again.
"We are going to work with Jubilee for development sake and we urge our people to move with us," Musila said during a presser at Parliament buildings in Nairobi.
The outgoing senator said that NASA has nothing to offer the Kamba community after losing to President Uhuru Kenyatta in the recent general election.
